The Margutta Palace is a XVII century Historical Mansion composed of two independent and charming apartments with fresco wall paintings, between Piazza di Spagna (“Spanish Steps”) and Piazza del Popolo. Ideal location for couples, families and friends who wish to live the magic of the eternal city, residing in via Margutta, the oldest street for artists and antiques dealers, just below Villa Borghese.

Our Mansion has been recently and carefully restored in order to re-establish the original beauty of its decor and paintings and to provide at the same time both apartments with all modern comfort. The early 20 th century furniture is part of the owners’ family traditional collection.

Via Margutta is a picturesque street in the center of Rome, just at the bottom of the hill Pincio. This area is famous as the artists and antiques dealers district, with many art galleries and fashionable restaurants, most of which originally were craftsman’s shops.

The central location of the Mansion is in walking distance of all the main historical monuments and sights of the city. Furthermore, the nearby Metro “Line A” Stations “Spagna” and “Flaminio” can be reached in a few minutes.
