Margutta palace

"Who’s that girl? - asked the young gentleman, standing at the entrance of the craftsman’s shop. He was used to see her pass by every day, accompanied by her chambermaid and governess. She could be no older than fifteen, but she was already an astonishing Beauty. “Forget her” – insisted the old man – “she’s out of your reach!”. At first he didn’t reply, just gazing to where she had just vanished; then, he turned his heated gaze toward him, full of his willfulness and stubbornness that one day would be evident on his coat of arms. “That’s the woman I will marry: and for her, I will build a Mansion over there”.

The family legend says that the Margutta Palace took its origins from the love of two youngsters, the same love that their offspring put into restoring the Mansion.

A passion and a love for the family tradition and for a city rich in history like Rome, that today we wish to share with our guests.

Rome, experienced from inside.
